Donate to, or volunteer with, the Gordon Street Pantry and Hampers project  

The Gordon Street Little Pantry and Hampers are run by a local group of volunteers in Footscray. The project started during the period of Covid-19 lockdowns as a way for local people to both donate and access food.

As well as the 24/7 food pantry, on Friday mornings, free food hampers and a barbecue are provided for community members. The Pantry and Hampers project is hosted at Footscray Church of Christ at 252 Gordon Street.

Non perishable food donations to the Pantry and Hampers project are much appreciated and can be dropped in the pantry or in the chute at the entrance to the church.

You can also donate money to the project. 100% of donated funds go to the weekly purchase of food for the hampers. Bank transfers can be made to the below account (hosted by Footscray Church of Christ). Please indicate that it is for the 'Pantry and Hampers project'
